STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHER

We are seeking a
creative, highly skilled In-House Studio Photographer with a focus on product and food photography
to produce high-quality imagery that defines the visual identity of our brands.

This is a
full-time, in-studio role based in our Montreal office
, with
on-site presence required five days per week (half-day Fridays)
. The role is intentionally designed for photographers who want to create daily in a collaborative studio environment, with full access to equipment, products, sets, and creative partners.

You will be a core member of the Creative Services team, working closely with Visual Production, Marketing, and Product Design to deliver compelling visual content across digital and print channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture high-quality images for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to product & food photography, lifestyle photography, and corporate portraits.
• Collaborate with marketing and product design teams to conceptualize and execute photo shoots that align with brand messaging.
• Ensure consistency in visual style across different platforms, including websites, social media, and print materials.
• Edit and retouch images using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to meet the required quality and aesthetic.
• Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring all tools are in proper working condition.
• Scout and select appropriate locations for outdoor shoots, ensuring optimal lighting and setting.
• Plan and organize shoots, including arranging products, food styling, prop styling, and ordering produce for shoots as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with photography trends and continuously improve skills to maintain cutting-edge visual content.
• Maintain a comprehensive image archive and ensure easy accessibility for team members.
• Collaborate with retailers, creative directors, and marketing to understand the vision and purpose of a shoot.
• Develop creative ideas and concepts that align with each brand's guidelines and project goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional photography experience, preferably in a consumer product environment with food styling.
• Proficiency with professional photography equipment (e.g., DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting setups).
• Expertise in post-production software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, etc.
• Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and color correction techniques.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates diverse photography styles and projects.
• Ability to produce unique and engaging visuals that reflect the company's brand.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with eCommerce or product-focused photography.
• Knowledge of social media content creation, trends, and optimization.

, basé à notre bureau de
Montréal
, avec une
présence sur place requise cinq jours par semaine
(vendredis en demi-journée). Ce rôle est intentionnellement conçu pour des photographes qui souhaitent créer quotidiennement dans un environnement de studio collaboratif, avec un accès complet à l'équipement, aux produits, aux décors et aux partenaires créatifs.

Vous ferez partie intégrante de l'équipe Services créatifs et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de production visuelle, marketing et design produit afin de livrer du contenu visuel percutant pour les plateformes numériques et imprimées.
