We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bilingual Team Lead, Talent Acquisition with 5-7 years of full cycle recruitment experience to join our growing team in Toronto. This role combines full-cycle recruitment (70%) with mentorship responsibilities (30%), offering the opportunity to lead by example while actively contributing to hiring success. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-oriented recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about mentoring others.

As a Bilingual Team Lead, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for:

Full-cycle Recruitment (70%)


• Managing end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of roles, from intake to offer acceptance.
• Confidently partnering with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
• Acting as a subject matter expert for hiring managers, advising on recruitment strategies, process compliance, and market trends.
• Sourcing, pre-screening and assessing candidates using a variety of tools and techniques such as iCIMS, Indeed and LinkedIn.
• Proactively sourcing and headhunting candidates for hard-to-fill or niche roles using creative and targeted approaches.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with external recruiting agencies to support hiring needs.
• Staying current on evolving employment regulations, including Bill 96 and the Pay Transparency Act, and ensure recruitment practices remain compliant.
• Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the ATS (iCIMS).
• Tracking and reporting on recruitment metrics and KPIs.

Team Mentorship & Operational Support (30%)


• Acting as a role model for the recruitment team, providing guidance on day-to-day operational questions; offering feedback and coaching to help peers improve performance.
• Monitoring requisition progress to ensure timely movement through the recruitment funnel.
• Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of the recruitment tracker and related documentation in iCIMS.
• Supporting onboarding and training of new team members, sharing best practices and tools.
• Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues in the ATS or other recruitment systems.
• Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify process improvements and support team performance.

As our ideal candidate, you will distinguish yourself by the following profile:


• Bilingualism (French and English) written and spoken is required.


• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a legal or professional services setting.
• Previous experience mentoring or supporting other recruiters is required.
• Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (iCIMS experience preferred).
• Familiarity with employment legislation such as Bill 96 and the Pay Transparency Act.
• Experience working with or managing external recruitment vendors and agencies.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
