Physics Tutor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students in various subjects. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Duties:

- Conduct one-on-one Physics tutoring sessions with students in high school for

Grade 11 -Grade 12.

- Create personalized lesson plans and teaching materials based on the individual

needs of each student.

- Assist students in understanding difficult concepts and improving their academic

performance.

- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning

experience.

- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians

- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for student success

- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

Skills:

- Strong knowledge and expertise in the Ontario Physics curriculum

- Experience working with students in an educational setting

- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner

- Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling

academically.

- Excellent organizational skills to track student progress and manage multiple

tutoring sessions

Requirements:

- 3rd/ 4th year Graduate Student or Bachelor's degree with Physics as major subject

- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable

- Familiarity with computerized learning platforms is a plus

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
