Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre and post trip circle checks
  • Maintain daily logs of truck usage, maintenance, etc.
  • Knowledge of dumping and hauling procedures
  • Knowledge of 30, 35, 60-tonne articulate/ rigid rock trucks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Identify, report and correct hazards
  • Previous mining experience is an asset
  • Preference for individuals experienced on multiple pieces of equipment
  • Punctuality
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Team Player; able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
  • Must have a full G license with clean abstract
  • Current criminal record check mandatory
  • Surface Miner Common Core is an asset
Position:
  • EXPERIENCED AND LOCAL PREFERRED *THIS NOT A CAMP POSITION-SHIFTS ARE MONDAY TO FRIDAY*
  • Wages commensurate with experience
