**Intermediate/Senior Design Engineer

Municipal and Subdivision Design, Utilities/Wastewater

Location: Mississauga Ontario

Salary: $85,000-$150,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of upcoming projects, planning studies and designs.
  • Design conveyance systems for municipal projects including force mains, storm sewers, and sanitary sewers.
  • Ensure current projects remain on budget and on track.
  • Work in conjunction with municipal, utilities, and approval agencies to ensure consistent communication wit all parties.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, and other departments as required.
  • Assist field staff on construction projects.
  • Assist with start-up, testing, and commissioning

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience related to the design and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • A current and valid Professional Engineer certification (P.Eng) in Ontario.
  • Experience with trenchless technologies, and pipeline rehabilitation.
  • Experience with Ontario Environmental standards and guidelines.
  • Planning and permitting processes experience.
  • Project management experience with municipal water and sewer projects is an asset.
  • Valid license, ability to travel and visit projects sites within Ontario

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D software
