Our client is expanding and are looking for a Project Manager to lead multi-million-dollar equipment supply and installation projects. With 5+ years of progressive project management experience, you'll thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams to deliver excellence. This is a permanent position based out of their Calgary office.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project engineers, drafting and production teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, contracts, technical specifications, and design codes.
  • Support document control, procurement and production teams as needed to meet project schedules and objectives.
  • Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and sub-contractor bid packages.
  • Communicate regularly with customer commercial and technical representatives.
  • Provide progress update reports to customers and quarterly financial reports to the leadership team.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary activities throughout the project lifecycle, including design, fabrication, site installation, commissioning, and equipment startup

You bring:

  • Technical degree or diploma in an engineering discipline, PMP designation considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing or fabrication related industries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, and design codes.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes and standards, is an asset.
