Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Red Seal Millwright with strong experience in mechanical installations and maintenance to join our rope access team. This role involves working on projects across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, often in elevated or confined environments. While prior rope access experience is an asset, we are willing to provide full training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment
  • Perform alignment, rigging, and precision measurements
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and complete root cause analysis
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Follow all safety policies including lockout/tagout
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

Requirements:

  • Millwright Apprentice (Level 1–4) or Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
  • Experience with pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, precision measuring tools
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Must provide ITA/Skilled Trades BC ID for verification

  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Confined space or fall protection certifications
