RAPS is Seeking a Morning HCA to assist an individual with Progressive MS (E15)

Location: South Edmonton (Millwoods)

Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & 2 Saturdays per Month

Hours: 8:30am-11:30am

*Must be available for all shifts

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: catheter care, changing adult briefs (Bowel incontinent), transfers using ceiling lift and sling, bathing, dressing, grooming, all aspects of personal care, medication administration, wound care (intermittent as necessary), bed and wheelchair repositioning, ROM exercises, Lung Volume Recruitment (LVR), meal preparation, housekeeping, support on outings (errands grocery, etc..), accompanying to appointments, and companionship

Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, HCA Certificate or previous health care aide experience will be considered. MS experience, a driver's license and vehicle and living close to Mill Woods would be considered a strong asset.

Rate of Pay: $19.00/ hour
