This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their craft (cameras, access control, cabling, structured wiring, troubleshooting) and can confidently act as the onsite lead for a variety of installation and service projects.

This position is critical to our ability to scale. You will be the technical backbone of our team.

  • Diagnose onsite issues quickly and independently
  • Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat6, coax, speaker wire)

  • Capture time in/out and provide required documentation
  • Communicate onsite challenges to the Project Manager early

Planning & Coordination

  • Confirm you have the correct materials for each job
  • Identify missing parts, shortages, or issues proactively
  • Provide input on scopes of work and improvements
  • Support quality control and post-install follow-up

Skills

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
  • Strong electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage wiring standards
  • Mechanical knowledge for installation of sensors, CCTV cameras, and other hardware components
  • Familiarity with computer networking principles relevant to security systems
  • Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, screwdrivers) and power tools safely
  • Experience with telecommunication systems and infrastructure setup
  • Knowledge of sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and related security technology
  • Understanding of construction practices related to electrical installations
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

A Senior Technician who is skilled, reliable, resourceful, and confident in the field — someone who can operate with minimal supervision and elevate the performance of the team.

  • Structured cabling, terminations, and testing
  • Reading floor plans and risers
  • Basic networking concepts (DHCP, IP addressing, switches)
  • A/V installation and mounting (TVs, displays, speakers)

Leadership & Mentorship

You enjoy teaching and guiding newer techs, and you take pride in helping the team level up.

Problem-Solving Ability

You can troubleshoot on the fly without needing constant oversight.

Reliability & Professionalism

You show up prepared, communicate well, and represent the company professionally.
