Responsibilities

  • Perform general site clean-up duties including sweeping, debris removal, and material organization
  • Load and unload materials and tools as directed
  • Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general labour tasks
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Follow all safety regulations and worksite procedures
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
  • Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors

Requirements

  • Valid WHMIS certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
  • Previous experience on a construction site is an asset but not required
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods
  • Must have a hard hat, CSA-approved steel toe boots, and a high-visibility safety vest as part of mandatory PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude
