About the role:
The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

The Transitional Care Unit (TCU) Dietitian has a direct reporting relationship to the Manager, Transitional Care Unit,
with a matrix reporting relationship for dietitian practice to the Director, Health Professions and Collaborative
Practice. The TCU Dietitian will perform all duties of a Registered Dietitian, following the scope of practice defined by
the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
* Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario required
* Experience in long term care and medicine inpatients an asset
* Effective patient/family counseling skills
* Entry level enteral and parenteral nutrition support skills required
* Effective communication, facilitation and presentation skills
* Proficient in computer applications and software
* Experience working in an interprofessional team and healthcare related food services
* Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work independently
* Demonstrated organizational skills
* Proven flexibility and ability to adapt positively to change
* Effective time management skills
Salary Range: $41.680 to 53.280
