- Understands developmental factors as they relate to assessment and intervention

- Knowledge of resources available to the 0-5 population & their caregivers
- Adjusts clinical approaches in a culturally responsive and respectful manner
- Ability to work independently and with broader interdisciplinary teams
- Understanding social determinants of health for program development & delivery
- Able to observe and interpret non-verbal cues leading to adjustments to program
- Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action
