We are seeking a Trimmer/Packer to join our dynamic team at our Casegoods Division in Kitchener from 10:00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Select appropriate hardware for cases.
• Install required hardware to cases.
• Align case components to meet quality specifications and operational requirements.
• Test hardware function and makes necessary adjustments.
• Inspect cases and makes minor repairs to cases.
• Install necessary packing materials.
• Perform necessary material handling requirements of the position.
• Pack units on the shrink wrap line as required.
• Float from position to position to ensure continuous flow of product within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned in all areas of the department.
• Observe safe working practises and maintains a neat and orderly work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with hand tools and power screwdrivers.
• Previous trim experience would be an asset.
• Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $19.13-$23.69 per hour
