Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and promoting our products to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise while contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
  • Engage in upselling and suggestive selling to maximize sales opportunities
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, including phone etiquette, to support customer interactions both in-store and over the phone
  • Utilize organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Experience with technology sales or product demos is advantageous
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and POS operations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain store presentation standards
  • Knowledge of merchandising principles and POS systems is beneficial
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette and effective communication with diverse customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
