Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, and mechanically inclined individual for our home elevator installation crews. The ideal candidate will have a background or interest in electrical systems, elevator installation/repair, automotive mechanics, or home construction. As an Elevator Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of home elevators and related equipment. This role requires a keen analytical mind to troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure the safety and functionality of elevator systems. This is an entry position for an individual looking to learn a new trade and start a career.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the Installation, maintainance, and repair various types of home elevators and lifts.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in elevator systems.
- Collaborate with customers to provide exceptional service and address their concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient in English for clear communication with clients and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is preferred.
- Must be a strong team player and must be able to work independently and as a team member
- Must be self-motivated
- Must have demonstrated strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension skills plus hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Able to follow instructions, make suggestions, and is willing to learn
- Valid G Class Driver's License with clean driving record
- Must be available, able and willing to be on call.
