Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in commercial or institutional settings
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment safely and effectively to complete cleaning tasks
  • Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to management
  • Use heavy lifting techniques when moving furniture or equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of tools and materials
  • Follow established safety protocols and health standards to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and inquiries

Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment
  • Experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance preferred
  • Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
  • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Prior custodial or custodial experience is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to deliver high-quality cleaning services consistently with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
