Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance.

Duties

  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
  • Maintain restrooms by cleaning fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
  • Conduct routine facilities maintenance such as changing light bulbs and reporting repairs needed
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to ensure thorough sanitation
  • Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
