This position is temporary until October 2026.
The Physiotherapist provides and documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within the scope of practice of physiotherapists. The physiotherapist provides support for patients and cross coverage through MCH on weekends.

Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
Minimum 1 year Pediatric physio experience within the past 3 to 4 years in the care of infants, children and their families within a tertiary care/acute care setting
Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children
Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal), critical thinking, mentoring, coaching and working within an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated facilitation, coordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation skills
Evidence of ability to facilitate change, foster innovation and model the values of the organization
Evidence of continuous learning
Recent (1 year) Pediatric experience preferred

3C Pediatric Medicine & Intermediate Care Unit at McMaster Children's Hospital provides inpatient tertiary, acute and sub-speciality care to pediatric medical patients. This is a dynamic, fast paced acute care unit where specialized medical care is provided to children with complex congenital abnormalities, endocrine, gastrointestinal, cardiac, respiratory, musculoskeletal disorders, neurology as well as pediatric trauma environment.
