We are looking for a Developer Python/Javascript for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

Key responsabilities :

  • Participate in design thinking sessions to collect needs and specify required features

  • Develop any required elements of the application from user interface to data management

  • Manage several streams of work concurrently

  • Bring a passion to stay on top of trends, experiment with and learn new technologies

  • Follow and adopt Agile methodologies within the team

  • Collaborate closely with the team and key stakeholders to ensure up-to-date documentation and deliver solutions aligned with business needs

  • Estimate development efforts, report on project status, and ensure timely delivery to clients

  • Support business systems by collaborating with IT teams, users, and stakeholders

  • Ensure customer and regulatory deadlines are met while following company policies

  • Act as a motivated, proactive, and highly contributing member of the project team

  • Participate in and follow up on regular team meetings

About You:

  • Proficient in verbal and written communications in English and French, able to adapt one's communication to the

audience

  • Experience in IT projects and Agile methodologies

  • Proficient in SQL, data transformation, BI/Reporting

  • Proficient in developing web applications and APIs

  • Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPMN) concepts and tools

Technical Stack:

  • Language: Javascript, Python, Typescript, SQL, HTML/CSS

  • Tools: Github, Git, Jenkins, ETL (Data Transformation), AirFlow
