Caulker

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Caulker to join our team, responsible for applying caulk and sealants to various surfaces in construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a background in construction. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Apply caulk and sealants to joints, seams, and gaps in various materials including metal, and concrete.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the appropriate application of caulking materials.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of caulking with other building elements.
• Perform restoration work on existing structures, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Ensuring proper surface preparation and finishing.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during the caulking process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• working at heights training and whim certification is a plus
• Ability to work on ladders and boom lifts
• Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools related to caulking and general construction tasks.
• Strong understanding of carpentry principles and practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of restoration techniques for various materials is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
