Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
  • Monitor customer consumption levels and adhere to responsible serving practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and menu changes.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.

Skills

  • Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
  • Proficiency with POS systems for processing orders and payments effectively.
  • Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Cashiering experience is beneficial for managing transactions smoothly.
  • Excellent customer service skills to create a positive atmosphere for guests.
  • Knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings is an advantage.
  • A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
