The Role
We are hiring an
Engineering Manager, Product Delivery
to lead
software delivery across development and QA teams
.
This role owns
execution, quality, and predictability
— ensuring engineering teams ship the right work, at the right time, with high standards. You'll be hands-on enough to stay close to the work, while primarily focused on
people leadership, delivery management, and engineering process
.
This is a
hybrid role based in Vancouver
.
What You'll Do
Engineering Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop
8–15 engineers
across
front-end, back-end, full-stack, and QA - Provide coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development
- Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability, and delivery excellence
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team growth
Software Delivery & Execution
- Own sprint execution and delivery across multiple product areas
- Partner with Product Managers to align requirements, scope, and priorities
- Remove blockers, manage capacity, and ensure predictable delivery cycles
- Balance feature development, technical debt, bug fixes, and reliability work
Technical & Quality Leadership
- Partner with Staff Engineers on architecture, standards, and technical direction
- Promote modern engineering practices:
automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, documentation - Improve QA strategy, test coverage, and release quality
- Support incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement
Process & Operational Excellence
- Improve agile delivery processes and engineering workflows
- Strengthen reliability practices (monitoring, alerts, on-call readiness)
- Ensure engineering output meets acceptance criteria, performance expectations, and SLAs
- Help guide platform modernization toward

What We're Looking For -
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in
software engineering - 2+ years in an engineering manager, team lead, or delivery lead
role - Proven experience leading
software delivery for SaaS products - Experience managing cross-functional teams (developers + QA)
- Strong understanding of modern SaaS architecture
(APIs, monolith-to-services evolution) - Experience with
PHP, Python/Django
, and/or
React - Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure
- Strong communication, prioritization, and execution skills
- Comfortable operating in a scaling, multi-product environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with
payments, transactional systems, or compliance-heavy platforms - Experience with multi-codebase or platform consolidation
- Background in sports technology, membership systems, or event platforms
