About your next Challenge as a Proposals Senior Specialist:

What will you do:

As part of the proposal team, the role involves working closely with functional groups to develop optimized and cost effective solutions that meets customers requirement. Manage the proposal and bid schedule from bid/no bid decision until delivery of the proposal which entails presenting the solution and cost to senior leadership. Provide technical support to business development team (customer meetings, conferences, etc.)

The role shall also require providing engineering support for the following:

Design solutions for marine/comms/power business units;Design electrical and mechanical systemsPrepare and perform test plans with customers.

International travel may be occasionally required (customer support, demos, and industry conferences).

Required Skills and Experiences:

Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of engineering experienceDeployment experience in power simulators and marine trainers is an assetDemonstrated leadership in project engineeringAble to deliver technical solutions as part of proposals and in engineeringAble to interface with customers in order to deliver projects on time and on budget Bilingual (French and English). Proficient in English writing and presentation. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.Team-focused and result-oriented.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada "Reliability" status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
