Fraser Valley Refrigeration is looking for a hard working sheet metal apprentice who is looking to grow in their career. This role would be working on commercial projects and residential mid rise projects.
Responsibilities

  • Perform ductwork installations, repair, maintenance, and service individually, and as part of a team.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Measure and order material as required.
  • Complete required documentation (i.e. electronic timesheets, job reports etc.) for services performed.
  • Work respectfully with other sub-trades and site super.
  • Lay out, measure, and mark sheet metal.
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
  • Provide services to both internal and external customers.
  • Using hand and power tools including grinders, wire cutters, power drills, shears, etc.

Qualifications

  • A proven systematic and organized approach to multitasking.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Professional and exceptional communication skills both written & oral.
  • Sheet metal experience is preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits: Local 280 Union

  • Overtime Pay
