The City of Niagara Falls Planning, Building and Development Enforcement Division is looking for students to join our team for the 2026 season.  We are seeking positive and energetic individuals to work alongside Municipal Enforcement staff  and provide site reviews, documentation, filing and photo gathering. This role will be a combination of office and outside work. ,

Responsibilities:

• Act as an ambassador for the City of Niagara Falls by demonstrating a positive demeanor.

• Patrol an assigned area by vehicle or on foot to during reviews of bylaw regulations.

• Document and collect information in the field

• Document information through taking photos

• Discuss and log complaints from the public

• Conduct reviews of tall grass complaints, issue notices through door hang tags where required

• Remove unauthorized signs from public property.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies for the semester preceding the upcoming summer or a recent graduate from a recognized law and security program.

• Valid Ontario Class G license.

• Able to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.

• Able to walk for extended durations without difficulty or fatigue.

• Strong conflict resolution skills.

• Understands and can interpret and explain bylaws and regulations to the public.

• Can maintain a positive and courteous demeanor.

• Able to work in various weather conditions

• flexible to work some afternoons and long weekends when required
