The Healing Institute is a leading mental health and addiction treatment center dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on a holistic approach that empower clients to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients experiencing mental health and addiction challenges.

Support Workers at will be asked to spend time with each client to support them through their treatment experience. Support Workers will be in an excellent position to learn about mental health and addiction care as they will be working as a member of a team with physicians, nurses, clinicians and other talented staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and any incidents.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Education

  • Minimum grade 12 education
  • Certificate in related field preferred
  • Preference will be given to those who's bachelor's degrees are in progress

Additional Notes

  • Valid class 5 driver's license
