Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, patient-focused setting with a commitment to high-quality dental health services.

Duties

  • Perform professional dental cleanings.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized advice for maintaining optimal dental health.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or other dental management software.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Active Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
  • Experience with Dentrix is preferred.
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages.
  • We are looking for a candidate who is focused, approachable, has excellent communication skills and a great rapport with children and adults alike.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset.

Schedule:

  • 30+ hours per week.
  • 4 or 5 day work-week with varying morning, evening and weekend shifts.
  • Varying options may be available - to be discussed during the interview process.
  • Evening and weekend shifts required.
