Employee Experience Manager

This leadership role is tasked with driving excellence in Employee Experience (EX), and requires the agility and flexibility to work effectively across L'OCA's many departments and business lines, while keeping in mind the big picture and the consistency of the L'OCA brand. The right candidate will bring a customer-focused perspective, along with a passion for learning and training, a strong background in analysis and strategic planning, a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams and excellent communication skills. Experience working in the restaurant and grocery industry is a significant asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across teams and departments to identify gaps and opportunities, and to develop and implement strategies that improve employee experience.
- Analyze EX metrics such as employee feedback surveys, focus groups, turnover rates and internal mobility, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to better the employee journey, from recruitment to exit interview, creating higher levels of employee engagement and productivity.
- Work closely with General Managers to design and deliver training programs that align with both business goals and L'OCA's brand, empowering our employees to wow and delight customers through adventures in food.
- Establish a leadership development pathway focused on Team Leads, providing them with the learning materials, tools and mentorship opportunities to succeed.
- Champion the adoption of new tools and technologies that contribute to documentation, training and process improvements.
- Create programs to boost employee morale, wellbeing and sense of community.
