Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support the overall efficiency of our food service. Duties

  • Assist in food preparation by washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients as directed by chefs or cooks.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Ensure that all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Help with cooking tasks as needed, including grilling, frying, or baking under supervision.
  • Support serving staff during meal service by preparing plates and assisting with food delivery.
  • Keep the kitchen organized and stocked with necessary supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Participate in maintaining overall kitchen hygiene standards by regularly cleaning surfaces and equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
