Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The French Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Teach French language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing to students of different ages and proficiency levels.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive and productive learning environment.
- Assess student performance through regular testing, quizzes, and informal assessments; provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate French language studies into broader educational programs.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant documentation using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Adapt lessons for students with special education needs to ensure all learners can access the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; specialization in French or foreign language education is preferred.
- Proven experience in early childhood education or teaching children in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and proofreading skills to assist students in their learning journey.
- Classroom experience that demonstrates effective teaching strategies and student engagement practices.
- Knowledge of math concepts may be beneficial for integrating interdisciplinary lessons.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
