Hotel Night Audit: Part-Time

This is a part-time night auditor position, the ideal candidate for this role is someone who is reliable, diligent, takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently. Strong customer service and technology skills are assets. Over nights 11pm-7am, weekends/ holidays required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Register arriving guests and assign rooms, Process group arrivals and departures, Take, cancel and change room reservations, Provide information on hotel facilities and services.

Provide general information about points of interest in the area, Investigate and resolve complaints and claims, Exchange foreign currency, Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.

Follow emergency and safety procedures, Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying), Assist clients/guests with special needs, Handle wake-up calls, Provide customer service, Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.

Assist with over night security duties when required.

Job requirements:

Must be legally able to serve alcohol.

Must be friendly, outgoing and be an approachable team player.

Customer service experience is a must.

Have excellent customer service skills.

French as a second language is an asset.

Able to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Comfortable working alone for long periods of time.

Criminal record check may be requested.
