Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting metal structures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the process. Commercial cladding, roofing and insulating experience required.

Duties

• Assemble and install metal frameworks, supports, and braces for buildings and other structures.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Utilize rigging skills to lift heavy materials with cranes and forklifts.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications.
• Installation of commercial cladding, roofing, trims and insulation
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.
• Conduct machining tasks as needed to prepare materials for assembly.
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ironworking or a related field, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in rigging, welding (MIG/TIG), and operating various power tools.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately.
• Familiarity with ductwork installation and assembly processes.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Must be able to work at heights and in various weather conditions safely. Join us as we build the future together

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.51-$44.14 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
