In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between our Engineering team, our Go-To-Market teams, and external vendors. You will sit within the Engineering organization, but your focus will be on the successful deployment and maintenance of punchout integrations that power our purchasing flows. You will triage incoming requests, manage direct communication with vendors, and ensure technical hurdles are removed to help customers purchase through their preferred suppliers.
Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset. You will build strong relationships across our business, advocate for customer outcomes, and approach challenges with curiosity and quick decision making. We are looking for someone who brings an entrepreneurial approach, questions the status quo, and contributes to our larger strategic goals as we scale.

Testing & Implementation: Rigorously test connections to ensure data integrity and seamless user experience before releasing integrations to customers. You will add and configure punchouts directly within the product.
External Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with non-technical and technical representatives to resolve credentialing or configuration blockers.
Internal Collaboration & Support
Triage & Prioritize: Receive and triage integration requests from Customer Success and Sales team members. You will assess technical requirements and prioritize work based on business impact and customer urgency.
Technical Troubleshooting: Operate as a Tier-2 technical resource to diagnose and resolve complex configuration issues. You will investigate defects and performance bottlenecks related to punchout workflows.
Engineering Partnership: Collaborate with the broader Engineering team to resolve issues or suggest architectural improvements for the punchout framework.
Tooling & Automation
Python Development: Utilize Python to implement and test cXML punchouts configurations in the product.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for punchout workflows and vendor-specific configurations to ensure accurate knowledge transfer.
KPIs: Punchout time-to-value, Ticket resolution time (MTTR).

Python Proficiency: Experience with Python, including reading, debugging, and working within established codebases.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable leading conversations with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of web technologies and API concepts (REST, HTTP protocols). Familiarity with data formats such as cXML or JSON is highly valued.
