Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis, visualization, and project management skills to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role involves developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights using advanced analytics tools and methodologies.

Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization tools to provide clear insights into business performance.
  • Collaborate within Agile project teams to deliver BI solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical specifications for data models and reports.
  • Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Perform complex data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and VBA to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Develop and optimize database schemas, design databases, and write efficient SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database systems.
  • Conduct business analysis to understand operational needs and recommend suitable BI solutions.
  • Create detailed documentation using Visio for system architecture, workflows, and process diagrams.
  • Utilize Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks related to data processing workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all BI platforms while adhering to best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle databases, and database design principles.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and related programming languages for data analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Understanding of SDLC processes for software development projects.
  • Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Visio for documentation purposes.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts including data warehousing, ETL processes, and database architecture.
