Job Description

  • Provide polished, professional service tailored to VIP and private dining events
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly while maintaining discretion and composure
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens
  • Execute refined service standards, including precise pacing, table setup, clearing, and coordinated service
  • Collaborate closely with culinary, beverage, and service teams to ensure smooth, seamless execution of events
  • Maintain professional appearance, posture, and presence at all times
  • Monitor service flow and proactively address any issues to uphold high standards
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate delivery and timing of orders

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years prior experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or private/VIP service environments preferred
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification, required
  • WSET certification (or equivalent wine and spirits education) preferred
  • Strong technical service skills and understanding of elevated service standards
  • Professional, composed demeanor with discretion and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate needs and adapt quickly in high-pressure, high-visibility settings
  • Team-oriented mindset with pride in supporting seamless, high-quality service
  • Availability weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
