About This Role:

We are looking for a Dispatcher to fill the evening shift (5:00pm-5:00am on a 2-2-3 continental shift) on a permanent, full-time basis in Salisbury, New Brunswick. What You'll Do:

  • Executes the weekly drivers' schedule; Suggest and implement route optimization
  • Dispatch, change, cover and cancel drivers as needed for the business
  • Work closely with the H&S Compliance Associate and the Equipment Compliance Associate
  • Ensure compliance with all Provincial & Federal transportation regulations
  • Oversee and orchestrate pickup and delivery of vendor orders to our Distribution Centers
  • Assist and cross train with Back Haul operations
  • Work with the respective warehouse supervisors and their Shipping departments regarding consolidations, splits and equipment requirements for specific route
  • Update and communicate effectively any changes or issues. Ensure that all events are updated in the TT Outbound Calendar accordingly
  • Interact with other departmental team members in GTW and Tiger Trucking to achieve set goals
  • Serve as back up to Transportation Supervisor; and/or other dispatchers
  • Other duties as set forth by the Transportation Manager and/or Transportation Supervisor

What You'll Bring:

  • High School diploma
  • 1-3 years related work experience
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Windows NT, MS Office (Word, Excel, MapPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Successful candidates must be in good standing for both performance and health & safety

Hourly Rate

$ $32.95
