Voted Kingston's #1 spot for poutine and burgers, FryWay is looking for the right person to join our team. We currently operate two year-round locations and two seasonal food trucks. We are looking for someone to join our team as a full-time cook / cashier.

Position: Cook (2 full-time positions available)

Starting Pay: $21 + tips. (avg. $2-4/hr worked)

Hours: hrs / week

Expected Shifts: 1130am - 8pm (Tuesday - Saturday)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food in a safe, accurate, timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service while taking orders
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment equipment
  • Handle cash and process orders

Skills:

  • Previous kitchen experience (min 3 years)
  • Attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Initiative
  • Self-motivated

  • Leadership abilities

  • Work well alone and with teams of up to three people in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years previous kitchen experience (fast food, line cook, prep cook, etc.)
  • Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate must be obtained before starting.
  • Clean criminal record check must be provided upon hiring.
