Job Description

Business Objects Consultant

Qualifications

1. Expert knowledge of Business Objects version 4 suite with at least 3 years development experience

* Strong analytical/problem solving abilities to analyze technical,

complex systems requirements and implement optimized solutions to address client

needs within defined system standards

* Detailed knowledge of data and its relationships so that appropriate

database scans and customized reports can be generated for management

* Experience with detailed and complex business functions, processes and

rules associated with supported applications within medium to large sized

Corporations

* Business process analysis and requirements gathering experience

* Strong written and oral communication skills able to communicate effectively with staff with varying degrees of systems expertise in clarifying and addressing program/system requirements

* Business Objects solution and reporting design experience

* Experience with projects managed using Agile Methodology or Scrum

Framework

* Experience with Oracle 10g and/or 11i

* High level of organizational skills, required to simultaneously work

with multiple projects with tight timelines

* Strong commitment to client service

* Familiar with change management procedures for a large multi-team project

* Experience working with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office

software
