PROTECTION SUPPORT WORKER
Twelve (12) Month Full-time Contract Position in Kapuskasing
As a member of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, the Protection Support Worker will provide preventative and protective intervention services to individuals, children and families. Services will be provided to and on behalf of children who are in the care of the Agency's child protection services and approved placements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS):
- A College Diploma in Human Services is required.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
- Must have a valid Class G driver's license and use of own vehicle.

À titre de membre de l'équipe de Services d'enquête et d'évaluation et des Services continus, le travailleur ou la travailleuse au soutien à la protection de l'enfance vont fournir un large éventail de services de prévention et de protection aux individuels, aux enfants et aux familles. Les services seront fournis aux enfants qui sont pris en charge par les services de protection de l'enfance et les placements approuvés et en leur nom.
EXIGENCES DE L'EMPLOI (QUALITÉS ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES) :
- Un diplôme collégial en services à la personne est requis.
- Dois être capable et prêt de travailler des heures flexibles.
- Doit être disposé à voyager selon les besoins.
- La capacité d'interpréter et d'appliquer les exigences législatives.
- Excellentes aptitudes à communiquer, excellent entregent et excellent sens de l'organisation.
- Le bilinguisme (anglais/français) est requis.
- Permis de conduire valide de la catégorie G et utilisation de son propre véhicule.
