Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and service-oriented Liquor Store Associate to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and contributing to a smooth store operation, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable service to customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions, including cash handling and POS operation.
  • Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain organized product displays.
  • Receive and verify deliveries, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe retail environment at all times.
  • Verify identification and ensure full compliance with all BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch requirements.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 19 years of age or older (provincial legal requirement).
  • Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or liquor sales is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Organizational skills to manage stock, displays, and daily tasks efficiently
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
