What You'll Accomplish With Us
As a Developer you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and users to understand and validate team needs.
- Maintain and support 10+ applications, including design, programming, configuration, and integration.
- Participate in technical discussions to make development choices aligned with best practices and corporate standards.
- Ensure security and confidentiality while continuously improving processes.
- Prepare and execute automated tests, support QA activities, and perform required testing throughout development.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, promote AI and learning platforms, and follow best practices while suggesting improvements.
- Provide technical support post-production, maintain documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and actively engage in team activities while fostering a learning mindset.
What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role
We're looking for someone who:
- Is known for excellent teamwork and communication skills (French is an asset).
- Stands out for strong technical expertise, including Salesforce, SQL Server, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, SSRS, React, C#, Azure DevOps, Dynatrace, Bootstrap, and Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Demonstrates adaptability and versatility, with experience in Mainframe (COBOL, DB2) and/or PowerBuilder applications considered an asset.
- Is recognized for advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI, combined with strong attention to detail and results orientation.
- Shows curiosity and a continuous learning mindset, seeking opportunities to explore new technologies and support the development of others.
- Possesses solid industry knowledge and education, with a college diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science and/or at least 5 years of experience as a high-performing developer; knowledge of financial services and insurance is an asset.
