Responsibilities

  • Direct traffic flow around construction sites, ensuring safety for both workers and the public.
  • Communicate clearly with drivers and pedestrians.
  • Monitor traffic patterns and adjust signals as necessary to maintain smooth operations.
  • Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of local traffic laws and regulations to enforce compliance effectively.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
