Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and ordering supplies as needed
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
  • Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Support medication administration processes when required, including preparing labels and packaging medications

Experience

  • Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration procedures
  • Experience in patient care roles within healthcare settings is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
