Position
: Manufacturing Safety Engineer

Location:
Orillia, ON

Salary:
$100,000 - $120,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Roles & Responsibilities
:

·      Develop, plan and improve safe manufacturing processes in the plant.

·      Design, implement, and maintain safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

·      Identify and lead the development, specification, and implementation of capital expenditure projects.

·      Lead Lean-Six Sigma methodology implementation and lead Kaizen projects.

·      Manage all capital project deliverables.

·      Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
:

·      Post-secondary degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

· – 5+ years related Engineering experience.

·      Experience and ability to develop, monitor, administer and report on budgets.

·      Experience in managing large capital projects.

·      Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and ability to implement them.

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
