We're currently looking for enthusiastic and dependable Junior Swim Instructors to join our growing London team

Position Overview

As a Junior Swim Instructor, you will assist and lead swimming lessons under the guidance of experienced instructors or Deck Supervisor. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching, enjoy working with children, and want to develop their skills in a supportive aquatic environment.

You'll play an important part in helping our swimmers gain confidence, improve their technique, and develop a lifelong love of the water.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach or assist in swim lessons for children and adults of various skill levels following Aqua Life's structured curriculum.
  • Provide a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment for all swimmers.
  • Support instructors with class setup, transitions, and swimmer management.
  • Ensure swimmers meet skill progression benchmarks and celebrate achievements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional deck environment.
  • Communicate clearly with swimmers, parents, and other staff in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Follow all safety procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Attend regular training sessions and team meetings to continue developing your teaching and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • Valid National Lifeguard certification
  • Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
  • Strong swimming ability and comfort teaching in the water
  • Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.5 per week
