Position DescriptionWe are currently looking for an Epic Ambulatory and MyChart Analyst on a casual, part time basis, with the ability to work during business hours. The job involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Ambulatory and Patient Experience applications (Welcome, MyChart, Remote Care Management and other digital engagement tools), acting as a bridge between technical teams and business needs to enhance patient engagement through troubleshooting, workflow improvements, upgrades, and ensuring regulatory compliance, requiring strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Here's What You'll Do
- Oversee design, build, configuration, and optimization of Epic Ambulatory, Patient Experience modules (Welcome, MyChart, Remote Care Management), and other digital engagement tools.
- Act as SME for patient digital engagement, contact center workflows, and outreach campaigns.
- Work with operational and clinical teams to improve clinical workflow and patient digital experiences.
- Manage projects, system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to the development of strategies aimed at enhancing user and digital patient experiences.
- Address and fix issues in Ambulatory, Patient Experience, and related team applications.
- Design, build and manage Epic Questionnaires and SmartForms.
- Collaborating with end users and Epic teams to align workflows with SickKids' business needs and timelines through operational insights, shadowing, and integrated sessions.
Here's What You'll Need
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a health-related discipline, or substantial experience in clinical practice, or computer science.
- Over three years of demonstrated expertise in collecting clinical workflow requirements and converting them into system specifications.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects or implementing systems.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationships building abilities.
- Excellent organization, problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter with effective time management and quick learning ability.
- Collaborative team player with minimal supervision required.
- Able to lead meetings, resolve conflicts, track issues/enhancements, and manage project plans.
- Must complete Epic project and certification within 3 months of initial training.
- Demonstrates a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Assets
- Epic Ambulatory and MyChart or other Epic certifications (*list certifications/proficiencies acquired).
- ServiceNow experience.
Employment Type: CASUAL position. Part-time during business hours (flexible).
