Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility available), or
  • Thursday–Friday only

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working in a clinical setting, including triaging patients for primary care physicians
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), in good standing
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Kidcrew uses TELUS Practice Solutions and is fully electronic
  • A reliable, flexible, and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients and obtain vital signs and measurements
  • Administer vaccines under the order and supervision of a physician
  • Order medical supplies and support maintenance of medical rooms and equipment
  • Clean and stock examination rooms with required supplies
  • Coordinate vaccine inventory and ensure proper storage and fridge monitoring in accordance with Toronto Public Health standards
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Valid RPN license in Ontario
