Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Permanent Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our friendly dental practice. This role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. Our new management is focused on creating a modern, well-organized, and positive atmosphere for both staff and patients. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your skills and grow with the practice, as we introduce new initiatives and updates to enhance our services.

Duties

  • Perform dental cleanings and exams for patients of all ages.
  • Take digital X-rays as needed and assist with diagnostic assessments.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and health maintenance.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix.
  • Assist in developing personalized treatment plans with the dental team.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

  • Active, valid dental hygiene license in BC.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality care.
  • Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience is preferred, but not required — we are happy to support ongoing training and development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13.0 per week
