Overview
Your Role

As a Civil Engineer, You Will

  • Design sewer and water systems, potable water reservoirs, and new residential, commercial, and industrial developments;
  • Design stormwater management structures;
  • Perform calculations and define parameters necessary for design;
  • Participate in the development of plans, drawings, data sheets, and technical specifications;
  • Prepare reports and technical opinions as required by project objectives;
  • Coordinate site supervision activities;
  • Ensure project follow-up with various stakeholders involved;
  • Conduct follow-up visits and attend site meetings;
  • Comply with rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety and environmental protection, as well as incident prevention. In addition, in a continuous improvement mindset, be proactive in improving health, safety, and environmental procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience;
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel);
  • Willingness to travel to various sites in Northern Québec.
