Duties

• Operate professional video cameras to record footage for live broadcasts, films, commercials, or digital content.
• Set up camera equipment, including tripods, lighting, and audio accessories, ensuring optimal shot quality.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other crew members to understand creative vision and technical requirements.
• Adjust camera settings such as focus, exposure, white balance, and framing to achieve desired visual effects.
• Maintain camera equipment by performing routine checks and troubleshooting technical issues promptly.
• Capture multiple takes or angles as needed to ensure comprehensive coverage of scenes or events.
• Follow safety protocols during setup and operation of all equipment to prevent accidents or damage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating professional video cameras in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of camera techniques, shot composition, lighting principles, and audio integration.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and adapt to changing requirements.
• Knowledge of editing software is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings or weekends when necessary.
• A passion for visual storytelling and continuous learning about new filming technologies.
